Will these foam applicator pads scratch or swirl my paint?
They're designed to be gentle: ultra-soft tight-cell foam with a soft molded edge. Start on a clean surface, add product to the pad first and keep it loaded so it glides on product, never dry on paint.
Does the foam soak up wax and waste product?
Tight-cell foam helps limit absorption, so less wax, polish or dressing soaks into the pad and more spreads onto the surface. Start with a small amount, a pea to nickel size, and add more only as needed.
Can I wash and reuse the pads?
Yes, they're made to be reused. Rinse in warm water before product dries in the foam, or machine wash warm with no bleach or fabric softener. Wash with light colors. Air dry or tumble dry with no heat.
Will the pads tear or fall apart after a few uses?
The dense foam is built to flex and spring back, wash after wash. Squeeze rather than wring them out, keep them away from heat and rotary tools, and rinse soon after use.
Can I use them as a tire shine applicator?
Yes. Fold the pad to follow the sidewall and lay tire dressing on evenly without slinging it onto the wheel. Keep one pad just for tires.
Can I use them with a machine polisher?
No. These are hand applicator pads, designed for applying product by hand with full control.
